Florida Style Boat Lift

A Florida Style boat lift is essentially an electric boat lift mounted on 4 pilings. Features include:

• Padded runners on the boat lift's cradle
• Electric boat lift motor
• Marine grade aluminum parts
• Cradle guides

It's also called a Cradle lift, 4 piling lift, electric boat lift, boat hoist, and electric boat hoist. whatever you'd like to call it, it's been a favorite of florida dock builders for years. While every installation is a little different they are basically the same as well. The boat lift is typically installed between four tie poles (pilings). Aluminum (our are marine grade aluminum for no rust), are installed at the bottom of the cradle boat lift. Cables are used to raise and lower the boat lifts. Two motors are installed. the control box is mounted on a tie pole near the dock. The lift can be raised or lowered via the control box (our has a leveler) or a remote control. Guide poles are installed to guide the boat onto the lift.
